How to add any import template to your Master Sheet and add data to it.

Updated this week

To import predictions into Futrli, you need a Master Sheet and a template. After you set up your Master Sheet you're ready to copy and populate the import templates available.

📌TIP: Use our walkthrough of how to import predictions into a Futrli forecast.

Copy template to a Master Sheet

  1. Click the Forecasting tab, then view the forecast you want to import predictions into.

  2. Once in the forecast, click New prediction in the top right, then click Import templates on the dropdown.

  3. Under the template you want to use, click Get the template.

  4. You can't edit this master copy. Instead, you copy the template to your Master Sheet.

Right-click the relevant tab at the bottom, Click Copy to, then click Existing spreadsheet.

Google Sheets. Menu showing when clicking 'Custom - Monthly' tab.

  5. Search for your Master Sheet, select it, and then open it. You now see that template in a new tab.

Add your data

After you copy the template over to your Master Sheet, you can start populating it with data.

📎NOTE:

  • When pasting data into the sheet, paste values only. This is because the sheet has underlying formulas

  • Don't delete any rows or columns from the sheet

  • Don't add any additional rows or columns

  • If you require additional rows, use a separate template

For more information on the specific templates, and how to populate them, use our Import templates guide.
