Managing users, roles and workspace settings

Want to make changes to how your workspace is set up? 


To make changes to your workspace set up, simply head to the settings page by clicking the gear icon in the top right of your screen.

What is a ‘role’ and how can I change them?


Every Futrli user will be assigned a role. The assigned role determines the level of access that a user has. For example, the ‘Super administrator’ role has permission to do everything in Futrli. But, a guest role may only be able to access specific data.

The access you have will be dependent on the permissions given. By default, there are 5 different roles, each with a default permission structure. Rather than limit you to these 5, you have the ability to create up to 14 different roles. 

Role settings are managed in the roles section of the settings page. From here, you can define the level of access for the users in your workspace.

On the left-hand side, we see the current roles for our workspace. Here we can also create a new role by using the button in the top right or adjust the order of existing roles by dragging and dropping them, please note only users with the ‘Super administrator’ role can adjust the role order.

With a role selected, you can adjust the settings and permissions. Just be aware that making changes will update all members of that role!

How can I edit user permissions and settings?


These can be changed in the ‘People’ tab of the settings page.

For each user, we can see their current role, points and the organisations they have access to.

If we want to look further into someone’s details, we can click into their profile.

From this profile page, we can check or change the user’s details, or make changes to the organisations the user has access to.

How can I change an organisation’s settings?


Your Organisation is integrated directly to Futrli. If you’re yet to go through the integration process, don’t worry! Help can be found here.

From the ‘Organisations & Data’ tab you can make changes to your organisation settings.

How do I update my billing settings? (coming soon)


Navigate to the Billing tab. 

You can set or change your payment method, billing contact and manage your subscription from the billing tab in the user settings page.

You can make changes to settings at any time, just click the cog in the top right to access your settings page.
