When you build a widget in a report, you can set the date range for it. For example, if you want a report to look at figures from today and the last 7 days.
You need to set this under the Date range section in the widget builder.
You can set this as:
Today
This week (Mon-Sun)
This week (Sun-Sat)
This month
This quarter
This financial year
Yesterday
Last week (Mon-Sun)
Last week (Sun-Sat)
Last month
Last quarter
Last financial year
Custom day
Custom week (Mon-Sun)
Custom week (Sun-Sat)
Custom month
Custom quarter
Custom financial year
📎NOTE: Use the custom options to select a specific date range.
As well as the period you select, you can also choose to look at additional prior or future periods too. For example, this month and the prior 3 months.
📌TIP: The option Period end: gives you the ability to update all widgets on the report in one click.
For example, if you change this to January 2024, then this would affect the base month your widget looks at.
