How to change colours on your report.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

When you create a report, you can change the colours for the following items:

  • Background colour

  • Colours on a custom graph

  • Colours on a custom table

  • Text Blocks

Background colour

By default the background of a report is white.

  1. To change the background colour click Page setup in the top left.

  2. Click the dot under Background, then select the relevant colour, then click Save.

Graph colour

If you have a graph custom widget, you can change the colours on it.

  1. Click the graph in the report.

  2. From the Builder section, click the Branding tab.

  3. Under Chart colours, click the colour next to each data item to change it.

Note: The Chart colours options won’t show until you select a Dataset or data under Axis.

  4. This updates automatically on your graph.

Custom tables colour

When you create a table widget, you can customise the fill for the headers and rows, including the Category, Groups and Accounts rows.

  1. Click the table in the report.

  2. From the Builder section, click the Branding tab.

  3. Select and apply the colours for each type.

Text colour

When you add a text block to a report, you can change the colour of the text and/or change the colour of the highlighted text.

📎 NOTE: this option is only available to text blocks and not widget titles.

📌TIP: When you select a colour, you can enter a hex code. This allows you to select colours that match your company's branding.
