Add information to a report

How to populate and customise a report using templates, widgets, text blocks, and images.

Updated over a month ago

When you build a report, Futrli's drag-and-drop functionality makes populating the report with data easy.

Report Widget options

Templates

Templates are pre-built reports that you can drag into an existing report. This then populates a ready-made report that you can make further changes to.

You can use:

  • Workspace templates - These are templates created by other Futrli users in your workspace

  • Futrli templates - These are default templates created by Futrli

Widgets

Widgets are pre-built by Futrli and contain customer and supplier information.

You can drag and drop them into place on a report and they populate with data automatically.

Builder

If you don't want to use Futrli's pre-built widgets, you can create your own with your own customised data.

Text blocks

You can drag and drop text blocks onto your report to annotate a report. In these text boxes, you can write and format text. You can even type @REPORT_DATE to use a placeholder that automatically populates the current time and date of the report.

As well as text blocks you can add page numbers and customise how they appear.

Images

You can add images to a report. This is useful if you want to add a logo. You can then use these images within the organisation for all reports or within the workspace with different organisations.

You can then move, resize, or make changes to the widget.

๐Ÿ“ŒTIP: Want to display graph data with a table alongside it? Rather than rebuilding the same widget, you could duplicate the graph widget, and then change it to be a table.
