How to use multi-factor authentication (MFA) for your Futrli login.

You can add an extra layer of security to your Futrli login using multi-factor authentication (MFA). Once activated, you need to enter a verification code sent by text to your phone number when you log in to Futrli.

  • Double authentication

  • Two-step verification


Enable multi-factor authentication

You can switch on MFA within your profile settings.

  1. After you log in to Futrli, click on your name on the top right, then click My profile.

  2. Under Multi-factor authentication, switch the toggle.

  3. Enter your mobile phone number.

  4. Click Send code, then wait to receive your code by text.

  5. Once you receive it, enter your verification code, then click Enable MFA.

After a few seconds, the MFA toggle shows as 'ON'.

You can deactivate MFA anytime, just switch the toggle.


Disable multi-factor authentication

If you want to deactivate MFA, follow the same steps as you would to enable it.

  1. Under Multi-factor authentication, switch the toggle.

  2. Enter your Futrli password.

  3. Click Send code, then wait to receive your code by text.

  4. Once you receive it, enter your verification code, then click Disable MFA.

After a few seconds, the MFA toggle shows as 'OFF'.

To reactivate MFA, just switch the toggle.

πŸ“ŽNOTE: If you no longer have access to the phone number used to enable MFA, contact Futrli support at futrli-help@sage.com who can help reset MFA for you.


Change phone number for multi-factor authentication

If you want to change the phone number, you need to deactivate MFA and set it up again with the new number.

If you have access to the phone number, you can log in and disable MFA from your Profile settings yourself.

If you don't have access to the phone number, you need to contact Futrli support at futrli-help@sage.com to reset MFA for you.


Can I use an authenticator app?

Currently, the only MFA method for Futrli is a text to a mobile phone number.
