How to populate data in the Australian (AU) Payroll template

The Australian Payroll template is useful to accurately calculate your staff costs forecasting, including PAYG, Medicare, Superannuation, commission etc.

Before you add data to this template to import, you must:

⚠CAUTION:

  • Don't delete any rows or columns from the sheet

  • Don't add any additional rows or columns. If you require additional rows, use a separate template

  1. Click the Forecasting tab, then view the forecast you want to import predictions into.

  2. Once in the forecast, click New prediction in the top right, then click Import templates on the dropdown.

  3. Click Open Master Sheet.

  4. Open the sheet settings and map the appropriate accounts. You must complete the boxes highlighted in red. White boxes are optional.

  5. Make sure each section is set up correctly for your company. This may mean overriding settings that are already in place.

  6. Ensure that the Medicare, PAYE and Super thresholds are correct.

  7. Enter your data in the appropriate cells.

    ⚠CAUTION: Only paste values if you're pasting data from another source. This is because the sheet has underlying formulas.​

    Ensure you complete all columns, including those found by scrolling right.

  8. When finished, you'll have a green tick at the top of the page. This means you can continue to sync the import template to Futrli.

    ​If this isn't green, you'll be able to open the rows to see which information is missing.
