What is a 1 year P&L forecast?

An overview of what a 1 year P&L forecast is in Futrli.

When you create a new forecast in Futrli, one of your options is a 1 year P&L.

These forecasts are 12 months in length and you can start them in a month of your choice. Unlike a 3 year cash flow forecast, this looks at P&L information only and doesn't look at any balance sheet account.

Within any 1 year P&L forecast you can:

You can lock 1 year P&L forecasts to prevent anyone from making any further changes to it.


How do I create a 1 year P&L forecast?

You create this forecast from within the Forecasting homepage.

You can create them:

  • From scratch

  • Using Futrli's auto-predictions

  • Using pre-built predictions referencing last year's actual data

  • Copying from an existing Futrli forecast
