Apply decimals or rounding to your data in graphs or tables

Updated over a week ago

You can format the values in your report to display one or two decimal places, round to whole numbers, or format to the thousand or million.

📎 NOTE: This is only applicable to custom widgets created using the Builder tool and doesn’t apply to prebuilt widgets.

Tables

After you build a table, you can apply Rounding to each data item individually:

  1. Edit the Report to select the table widget

  2. From the Builder tool, click the Rows tab

  3. Under each data item, click the arrow to expand the view.

  4. Under Rounding, select one of the options:

  5. Repeat for each individual data item according to your needs.

In this example, we applied two decimals to the income values only:

Charts

With charts, you can apply decimals and rounding from the Default axis settings.

This will update the figures showing on the axis, the pointer value and labels when activated.

  1. Edit the Report and select the chart widget

  2. From the Builder tool, click the Axis 1 tab

  3. Click Default axis 1 settings to expand the view.

  4. Under Rounding override, select one of the options.

  5. Repeat if necessary with Axis 2

In this example, we applied rounding to the Thousand:

📌TIP: If the label suddenly disappears, this means the graph isn’t wide enough to show the value with decimals. In this case, you can simply resize the widget.
