Futrli Advisor v Futrli Predict

Explaining the differences between Futrli Advisor and Futrli Predict

On January 1st 2027, Futrli Advisor will be retired.

To continue using Futrli's forecasting and reporting software, you will need to create a new account for Futrli Predict.

If you would like some advice on moving over to Futrli Predict, please reach out to our Support Team who will offer guidance on what you need to do.

Why is Futrli Advisor being retired?

Futrli Advisor has been supporting your forecasting and reporting needs for over 10 years, but in order to implement updates to key features, it was unavoidable to create a new and improved platform.

The features available in Futrli Predict are already a step ahead from Futrli Advisor - and AI will be implemented more and more into Futrli Predict to streamline manual tasks, whilst keeping overall control with you, the user.

Does Futrli Predict offer Futrli Advisor functionality?

Yes. Let's take a brief look at how Futrli Predict will take on Futrli Advisor features and enhance your experience.

Futrli Advisor

Futrli Predict

Forecasts

Forecasting has been elevated with the availability of invoice level forecasts.

Futrli Advisor-style forecasts are available, but also available are forecasts where due invoices are listed, and can have payment dates overridden - producing powerful short-term cashflow projections.

Dashboards

Dashboards are available to display actual and forecasted data with a range of graph and table options.

Key dashboards can be set to display in a specific section, away from the list of all other dashboards that have been created or shared.

Reports

Reports in Futrli Predict include completely customisable drag-and-drop functionality.

There are a range of templates available to start from, or alternatively create your own template to be used in any organisation within your Futrli Predict workspace.

Non-financial data

Non-financial data can still be uploaded via an Excel template, but can now also be created and edited within Futrli Predict itself.

Formulas

The formula builder for both forecasting and reporting is now a powerful Excel-style tool, enabling you to produce extremely specific formulas.

With this, Futrli Predict also supports 'IF' formulas, perfect for forecasting accounts that may be dependant on other outcomes.

Consolidations

Consolidations in Futrli Predict are available, and now support multiple currency consolidation and daily FX rates.

Those FX rates are even completely customisable.

What new functionality is available in Futrli Predict?

Here are some features available in Futrli Predict that cannot be found in Futrli Advisor:

Invoice-based forecasting

Rather than using Accounts Payable and Receivable balances, Futrli Predict has a forecasting option where live due invoices are listed with the amount and when they are due to impact the cashflow.

Those due (and potentially overdue) invoices that are currently skewing your cashflow can be manually overridden with updated expected payment dates, building a powerful short-term cashflow picture.

Customer and Supplier behaviour

You'll find a full list of all customers and suppliers linked to the organisation. There's a helpful overview of amount spent, what might be due or even overdue, last activity and even a dependancy score.

Report scheduling

Reports build in Futrli Predict can be exported to PDF, emailed directly to another user, or you could set up a schedule for an email to be sent with the latest version of the report.

A monthly overview of what's impacted your business can be sent straight to the inboxes of those who matter on the first of the month. You can even set up an alert to review what's being sent before it is sent for peace of mind.

Sage Accounting integration

Along with direct Xero and QuickBooks Online integrations, Sage Accounting is available for automatic daily syncing. An Excel organisation option provides Futrli access for all data sources.
