Create a repeating prediction

Create a manual prediction using the repeating method to add recurring values that repeat daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually.

  1. Open the forecast.

  2. Select New prediction, then Manual prediction.

  3. Select Repeating as the prediction method.


Configure the prediction

Complete the following fields:

Prediction name

Enter a name for the prediction. This is the name that appears in the forecast and in any reports that reference it.

Account

Select the account you want the prediction to update.

VAT/GST/Sales tax rate

The prediction uses your default VAT/GST/Sales tax rate unless you enter a different percentage.

Start date

Select when the prediction starts.

Amount

Enter the prediction amount excluding VAT/GST/Sales tax.

Repeat

Choose how often the prediction repeats:

  • Daily

  • Weekly

  • Monthly

  • Quarterly

  • Annually

End

Choose when the prediction stops.

You can:

  • Never end the prediction

  • End after a specific number of repetitions

  • End on a specific date


Increase or decrease over time

Apply a fixed amount or percentage increase or decrease to the repeating value. Futrli uses the starting amount as the baseline and applies the change to future periods.


Set the cash flow payment treatment

Choose how the prediction affects cash flow.

Available options are:

  • Same-day payment

  • Single payment

  • Multi: in days

  • Non-cash transfer

📌 TIP: If you select non-cash transfer, choose a balancing account.


Review the impacted accounts

The Accounts impacted tab shows how the prediction affects your forecast, including:

  • The selected Profit & Loss or Balance Sheet account

  • VAT/GST/Sales tax

  • Bank accounts

  • Accounts receivable or payable

📎 NOTE: This tab appears after you enter a prediction name, select an account, and enter an amount.
