How to populate data in the Custom daily and Custom monthly templates.

Updated over a week ago

How to use these blank templates that let you pull any daily or monthly value directly into your cash flow.

Once you've done this, we explain below how to add data to the Custom daily or Custom monthly template in your Master Sheet.

⚠CAUTION:

  • Don't delete any rows or columns from the sheet

  • Don't add any additional rows or columns. If you require more rows, use a separate template

If you accidentally do any of the above, this will corrupt the sheet. When this happens, you’ll need to open a new template, copy it to your Master Sheet again, and restart the process of adding data.

  1. Click the Forecasting tab, then view the forecast you want to import predictions into.

  2. Once in the forecast, click New prediction in the top right, then click Import templates on the dropdown.

  3. Click Open Master Sheet and go to the relevant tab.

  4. Unlike some other templates, there are no hidden settings to complete. You'll only need to add data to the white boxes.

  5. Set the first day/month to start with. The following months will then automatically update.

For example, if you want to select October 2022 in the Custom Monthly, you need to type 10/2022.

  6. Enter your data in the appropriate cells.

⚠CAUTION: Only paste values if you're pasting data from another source. This is because the sheet has underlying formulas.

Both daily and monthly templates require the following:

    • An Account category

    • A prediction name

    • An invoice date

    • A VAT/GST/sales tax amount

    • Payment days

  7. Add the relevant figures against the day/month.

  8. When finished, you'll have a green tick at the top of the page. This means you can continue to sync the import template to Futrli.

  9. When the red cross is showing, the data isn’t ready to sync. You'll need to expand the rows to see which information is missing.
