Complete an Excel forecast template

Complete an Excel forecast template in Futrli before importing predictions into a forecast.

You can use the Excel template to create a new forecast or import predictions into an existing forecast.


Fields completed automatically

B1 - Import Type

This remains P&L budget/forecast. Don't change this value.

B2 - Organisation Name

Displays the organisation name from Futrli. Don't change this value.

B3 From date

Displays the forecast start date.

B4 – To date

Displays the forecast end date.

Row 5 (Column G onwards)

Displays the forecast periods based on the selected date range.

Columns A and B

Displays the profit and loss accounts from the organisation.

To change the forecast period, update the From date or To date.


Complete the prediction details

C – Prediction name

Enter a unique name for the prediction.

D – VAT/GST/Sales tax

Enter the tax rate as a percentage. Leave blank to use 0%.

E – Payment days

Enter the payment terms. Leave blank or enter 0 for a same day payment.

F – Store on day

Select the day of the month to create the prediction. Leave blank to use the first day of the month.

G onwards

Enter the forecast values, excluding VAT/GST/Sales tax.

Futrli automatically calculates the VAT/GST/Sales tax based on the rate you enter in Column D.


Add more predictions

If you need multiple predictions for the same account, add another row beneath the appropriate account and enter the additional prediction details.
