ERROR: 'Failed to save consolidation'

Explains why this error appears and how to resolve it, including steps to reconnect a missing Futrli organisation.

Written by Oliver Cook

If you see this error when trying to save your consolidation settings, it usually means one or more of the organisations you're trying to add isn't connected to your Futrli workspace.

Failed to save consolidation

Why this happens

A consolidation can only include organisations that are actively connected and visible under your Data Connected Organisations. If an organisation has been disconnected or removed from your workspace, Futrli cannot save it as part of the consolidation — and will return this error.

How to resolve it

  1. Go to Summary.

  2. Under Data connection, click Sync now to refresh your organisation data.

  3. Check that the organisation you're trying to add is listed under Data Connected Organisations. If it is missing, reconnect it.

  4. Once the organisation is reconnected, go to Manage Organisations > Consolidations > Consolidation settings.

  5. Add the organisation to Consolidated entities and try saving again.

📎NOTE: If the organisation you're adding isn't visible under Data Connected Organisations, you'll need to reconnect it before you can include it in a consolidation.
