Learn how to populate the Grouped Payments template

Updated over a week ago

To use this template, you'll need to have:

Please do not

  • Delete any rows or columns from this template.

  • Add any rows or columns to this template.

  • Override any cells. If pasting data, please paste values only.

If you accidentally do any of the above, you may corrupt the sheet. If this happens, you will need to open a new template, copy it to your Master Sheet again, then restart the process of adding data.

Step one

Unlike some other templates, the Grouped Payments template requires no hidden settings to be opened and completed. You'll only need to add data to the white boxes.

Start to add information to each cell in the row. Use the drop down option when available and make sure to ensure all cells are completed, scrolling right if required.

Step two

Add up to 25 rows of data, making sure each row has all cells completed. The Prediction name will be what shows within Futrli, set up against the accounts you select in the Revenue/Expense account code and Asset/liability account code columns.

Step three

When finished, you'll have a green tick at the top of the page, effectively giving you the green light to carry out the sync. If this isn't green, you'll be able to open the rows to see which information is missing.

Step four

To get the sheet into Futrli, you'll need to copy and paste the tab name into the Control Sheet. This guide runs through that process in more detail.
