Build a report

How to build and customise a report.

Updated over a week ago

When you create or edit a report you have several options to customise it. Below we guide you through these options so that you can design your report according to your preferences.

๐Ÿ“ŒTIP: Click the GIF below for a walkthrough of creating a new report in Futrli.

Rename a report

To edit the title of a report click on the current title name, enter the new title, then

click anywhere outside of the text box. The new name automatically saves.

Templates

You can use workplace templates created by you and other users. Alternatively, you can use Futrli's own templates.

Just drag and drop the template onto your report to add it.

Widgets

Widgets are pre-built by Futrli and contain customer and supplier information.

You can drag and drop them into place and they populate with data automatically. You can also reposition and resize the widgets.

Builder

Instead of using the pre-built widgets you can create your own.

  • Drag and drop the widget onto your report

  • Add a dataset

  • Add data from the P&L, balance sheet or cash flow

  • Set a date range for the widget

Text

You can add text sections to the report with a text block.

You can also:

  • Add the current time and date to the report by typing @REPORT_DATE

  • Add page numbers

Images

You can upload and then drag and drop images into the report.
