Learn how to populate the Custom Daily and Custom Monthly templates

Updated over a week ago

To use either of these templates, you'll need to have:

Please do not

  • Delete any rows or columns from either template.

  • Add any rows or columns to either template.

  • Override any cells. If pasting data, please paste values only.

If you accidentally do any of the above, you may corrupt the sheet. If this happens, you will need to open a new template, copy it to your Master Sheet again, then restart the process of adding data.

Step one

Unlike some other templates, the Custom Daily and Monthly templates require no hidden settings to be opened and completed. You'll only need to add data to the white boxes.

The first task will be to set the first day/month data will be uploaded for. This can be done by simply overriding the first day/month. If you wanted to select October 2022 as an example for the Custom Monthly, you'd need to type 10/2022. The following months will then automatically update.

Step two

Enter your data in the appropriate cells. Please only paste values if you are pasting data from another source.

Both templates have the same set up with both requiring:

  • An account the prediction will be set up against

  • A prediction name

  • An invoice date

  • A VAT/GST amount

  • Payment days

You'll then be able to add the relevant figures against the day/month.

Step three

When finished, you'll have a green tick at the top of the page, effectively giving you the green light to carry out the sync. If this isn't green, you'll be able to open the rows to see which information is missing.

Step four

To get the sheet into Futrli, you'll need to copy and paste the tab name into the Control Sheet. This guide runs through that process in more detail.
