Complete the Grouped Payments import template

Complete the Grouped Payments import template in Futrli before importing grouped payment predictions into a forecast.

Written by Futrli Support

Use the Grouped Payments template to forecast accruals, prepayments and deferred revenue.

Before you start

Before you begin, create an import Master Sheet and copy the Grouped Payments template into it.

CAUTION: Don't:

  • Delete any rows or columns

  • Add any rows or columns. If you need more than 25 rows, use another Grouped Payments template

If you change the template structure, create a new template, copy it into your Master Sheet again, and start over.

Open the Grouped Payments template

  1. Open the forecast.

  2. Select New prediction, then Import templates.

  3. Select Open Master Sheet, then open the Grouped payment tab.

Complete the template

Enter data into the white cells only.

CAUTION: If you're copying data from another source, use Paste Values only to preserve the template formulas.

As you complete the template:

  • Use the available dropdown lists where provided

  • Complete every required cell for each row

  • Scroll across to complete all columns

NOTE: Unlike some other import templates, the Grouped Payments template has no hidden settings to complete.

You can add up to 25 grouped payment entries in a single template.

Complete the account mapping

For each row:

  • Enter a Prediction name. This becomes the prediction name in Futrli

  • Select the appropriate Revenue/Expense account code

  • Select the appropriate Asset/Liability account code

Check the template

If a red cross appears, required information is missing. Expand the affected rows and complete the missing fields.

When complete, a green tick appears at the top of the worksheet to show the template is ready to sync back to Futrli.
