Complete the Loan Amortisation import template

Complete the Loan Amortisation import template in Futrli before importing loan repayment predictions into a forecast.

Written by Futrli Support

Use the Loan Amortisation template to forecast loan repayments, interest, and outstanding balances.

Before you start

Before you begin, create an import Master Sheet and copy the loan amortisation template into it.

CAUTION: Don't:

  • Delete any rows or columns

  • Add any rows or columns. If you need extra loans, use another Loan Amortisation template

If you change the template structure, create a new template, copy it into your Import Master Sheet again, and start over.

Open the Loan Amortisation template

  1. Open the forecast.

  2. Select New prediction, then Import templates.

  3. Select Open Master Sheet, then open the Loan Amortisation tab.

Enter the loan details

Enter data into the white cells only. Unlike some other import templates, the Loan Amortisation template has no hidden settings to complete.

You can enter details for:

  • A new loan

  • An existing loan with repayments already in progress

For existing loans, Futrli replaces forecast periods with actual data as it becomes available.

As you enter the loan details, the repayment schedule updates automatically.

Caution: If you're copying data from another source, use Paste Values only to preserve the template formulas.

Add additional fees

If your loan includes additional fees, select the + icon next to Expand to display the extra fields.

Add additional loans

The template supports up to three loans. Expand the additional columns to enter the details for loans two and three.

Check the template

If a red cross appears, the required information is missing. Expand the rows and complete the missing fields.

When complete, a green tick appears at the top of the worksheet to show the template is ready to sync back to Futrli.
