Non-financial drivers in Futrli

The non-financial drivers page in Futrli is where you can enter your non-financial data.

Written by Futrli Support

The non-financial drivers feature in Futrli allows you to bring any non-financial data into your organisation for reference in forecasting and reporting.

For example, if you need to reference how much stock you sold, or show footfall in a report, those non-financial drivers can be used in any formula or directly on a report.

How do I bring in non-financial data to Futrli?

The Non-financial drivers section in Futrli is your tool to add information that isn't pulled through from your data source (Sage Accounting, Xero, QuickBooks Online or an Excel organisation).

This is where you can do the following:

Where can I reference non-financial drivers?

As you add and save non-financial drivers, you can use them within forecasting and reporting.

Reference non-financial drivers in a forecast

You can reference a non-financial driver in a forecast by creating a formula-based prediction. You can then type '@' in the prediction builder. This will bring up the organisation's chart of accounts and non-financial drivers.

Reference non-financial drivers in a report

You can reference non-financial drivers in a report when building a report widget. You can also use the formula option when building a report widget to reference a non-financial driver.

Option 1

You can apply them when you click Choose data when building a report widget.

You can then select the relevant driver to reference in the report.

Option 2

The second part of reporting where you'll be able to reference non-financial drivers is when creating a formula within a report.

In the formula builder, type @, and scroll down to select the relevant non-financial driver. If you know the name of the specific non-financial driver, you can type the name to filter out other options from the list.
