Written by Futrli Support

You can use Axis 2 to display additional data using a different chart style.

For example, you can display:

  • A bar chart and a line chart

  • Two different line charts

  • Two different bar charts

Add data to Axis 1

  1. Create or edit a chart widget.

  2. Select the chart type.

  3. Select the required dataset.

  4. In Axis 1, add the data you want to display.

The selected chart type applies to Axis 1 by default.

Add data to Axis 2

  1. Select Axis 2.

  2. Add the data you want to display on the second axis.

  3. Expand Default Axis 2 settings.

  4. Select the chart style for Axis 2.

Available chart styles depend on the selected graph type. The chart updates automatically.

Why use Axis 2?

Axis 2 is useful when comparing different data series in the same chart.

For example:

  • Income and expenses

  • Actual and forecast data

  • Revenue and profit

You can experiment with different chart styles to find the most effective visualisation.
