Create a workspace template

How to create and build a workspace template.

Updated over a week ago

Workspace templates are pre-existing reports you can use to create and build new reports. These templates are available across all other organisations connected to your workspace.

You create a workspace template simply by copying a report you've already created.

๐Ÿ“ŽNOTE: Any user role except for 'Guest' can create a workspace template.

  1. Click the Reporting tab.

  2. In the left-hand menu, click Reports. You can see your 'Published' and 'Draft' reports.

Click the option where the report sits currently, for example, Published.

  4. This opens a draft of the workspace template. You can make further changes such as renaming the template. You can also customise and build the workspace template the same way you would build a report.

You can access this draft workspace template in the Draft dropdown under Workspace Templates when you're on the Reporting page. You can leave the template as a draft and edit the workspace template whenever you want.

When you're ready to make it available for others to use, publish the workspace template. This makes it available to select whenever you create a report using a workspace template.
