When you build a widget in a report, you can set the date range for it. For example, if you want a report to look at figures from today and the last 7 days.
You need to drag and drop the calendar field into the X-Axis for graphs, or the 'columns' box for tables.
You can set this as:
Days
Months
Weeks (Mon-Sun)
Weeks (Sun-Sat)
Quarters
Years
When you click the calendar fields you inserted, you can set what you want the date range to be.
For example:
This month
Last month
Other - this option presents the option to select a specific month/day/week etc.
AND
The prior, for example, 11 months
The next, for example, 11 months
📎NOTE: The option Period end: gives you the ability to update all widgets on the report in one click.
For example, if you change this to January 2024, then this would affect the base month your widget looks at.
