To import a budget into a forecast, you can follow the steps required to import a prediction. When you do this, just select the Custom-monthly template, which is suitable for budgets.
Once you've copied the template, you can edit your data as follows:
Select the account you want to forecast against
Add the VAT and payment days
Make sure to select the first date in the first month
Add the data you want to be pulled through
Once your data is ready, sync your data from the control sheet to import it into the forecast.
