Use the Invoice Discounting template to forecast cash flow and costs for invoice discounting arrangements.
Before you start
Before you begin, create an import Master Sheet and copy the invoice discounting template into it.
CAUTION: Don't:
Delete any rows or columns
Add any rows or columns. If you need more than 25 rows, use another Invoice Discounting template
If you change the template structure, create a new template, copy it into your Import Master Sheet again, and start over.
Open the Invoice Discounting template
Open the forecast.
Select New prediction, then Import templates.
Select Open Master Sheet.
Open the Invoice Discounting tab.
Complete the Invoice Discounting settings
Expand Invoice Discounting Settings.
Complete each required field.
Map the appropriate accounts.
Review and update any default settings to match your business.
Set the first forecast month
Scroll to the data table.
In the first month column, select the month your predictions start.
The remaining months update automatically.
If you have an existing liability to repay, enter the amount. If you don't have a liability, enter 0.
đ NOTE: The liability month can't be earlier than the first month of your predictions.
Enter your prediction data
Enter your data into the template.
You can add up to 25 rows
If you need extra rows, use another Invoice Discounting template
CAUTION: If you're copying data from another source, use Paste Values only to preserve the template formulas.
Check the template
If a red cross appears, the required information is missing. Expand the rows, then complete the missing fields.
When complete, a green tick appears at the top of the worksheet to show the template is ready to sync back to Futrli.
